When Ripples Become Stories: A Journey Through Three Books and the God Who Holds Them Together
Every story begins with a moment — a choice, a conversation, a crisis, or a quiet whisper from God that we don’t fully understand until much later. Over the years, I’ve learned that the smallest moments often create the biggest ripples. And sometimes, those ripples become books.
Today, I want to share the heart behind three of my titles: The Ripple Effects, The Ripple Effects of Fire & Flood, and Trapped at Anna Ruby Falls.
Each one carries a different part of the journey, yet all three point to the same truth: God is present in every ripple, every storm, and every rescue.
The Ripple Effects — When Small Moments Shape a Life
This book began with a simple observation: Most of the defining moments in our lives don’t feel defining at all when they happen.
A conversation you didn’t think mattered. A decision you made without thinking twice. A person who showed up at the right — or wrong — time.
The Ripple Effects explores how God uses these seemingly ordinary moments to shape our identity, our direction, and our faith. It’s a reminder that no life is fixed, no mistake is final, and no ripple is without purpose.
This book is for anyone who has ever wondered whether their life matters more than it seems — because it does.
The Ripple Effects of Fire & Flood — When Crisis Becomes Calling
If The Ripple Effects is about the small moments, Fire & Flood is about the moments that shake us to the core.
There are seasons when the fire burns hotter than we thought we could bear, and the flood rises higher than we thought we could survive. Crisis has a way of stripping life down to its bones. It forces us to face what we believe, who we trust, and where our hope truly rests.
This book was born out of lived experience — not theory. It’s a testimony of how God meets us in disaster, how He rebuilds what was broken, and how He turns devastation into deeper faith.
For anyone walking through hardship, grief, or spiritual exhaustion, Fire & Flood is a reminder that God never wastes a storm.
Trapped at Anna Ruby Falls — When Survival Becomes Revelation
While the first two books explore spiritual ripples, Trapped at Anna Ruby Falls tells a story of physical danger, human vulnerability, and divine intervention.
Arthur and Martha set out for a simple day trip — a peaceful walk through God’s creation. But a sudden storm turns their outing into a fight for survival. With washed‑out trails, dropping temperatures, and medical challenges, their strength is pushed to the limit.
Yet even in the chaos, God is present.
This book is a reminder that sometimes the greatest revelations come when we are trapped — physically, emotionally, or spiritually — and God becomes our only way forward.
It’s a story of courage, faith, and the quiet miracles that happen when human plans fall apart and divine purpose steps in.
