Isaiah 40:31 “…they shall mount up with wings as eagles…”
By mid‑week, most people feel the drain. Not because they’re weak, but because life has a way of pulling at the soul from a dozen directions at once. Responsibilities tug. Worries whisper. Circumstances weigh. And without noticing, we start living lower than God intended.
But Isaiah gives us a picture, not of escape, but of elevation.
“…they shall mount up with wings as eagles…”
Eagles are unique among birds. They don’t waste energy fighting the wind. They don’t panic when storms rise. They don’t flap themselves into exhaustion.
They use the very wind that threatens them to lift them higher.
Where other birds struggle, eagles soar.
And this is the miracle God often chooses:
He doesn’t always remove the storm, He gives you altitude above it.
Elevation is God’s answer to exhaustion.
It’s not the storm disappearing. It’s you rising above what drains you.
It’s not the problem vanishing. It’s God giving you a higher perspective.
It’s not the pressure stopping. It’s God lifting you to a place where the pressure can’t reach you.
Sometimes the miracle isn’t deliverance, it’s distance.
Distance from the noise. Distance from the fear. Distance from the weight. Distance from the enemy’s lies.
Elevation doesn’t change the storm, it changes your relationship to the storm.
Today, ask God for that kind of lift.
Ask Him to raise your perspective. Ask Him to help you see from higher ground. Ask Him to carry you above the swirl of what drains you.
Because when God lifts you, you don’t rise by effort, you rise by His strength, His wind, His Spirit, His presence.
And from that altitude, everything looks different.
